Betfred new customer offer (18+)

Betfred are offering new customers £50 in Free Bets on the Champions League this week when joining and placing a £10 bet.

The Champions League returns this week with two nights of European action, featuring several heavyweight encounters and intriguing tests for some of the continent’s biggest clubs. With the league phase continuing to take shape, every point matters as teams look to strengthen their positions and move closer to qualification for the knockout rounds.

Tuesday’s standout fixture is undoubtedly Atlético Madrid v Bayern Munich. Two sides with considerable European pedigree meet in what promises to be a fascinating tactical contest. Atlético’s defensive organisation and intensity will be tested against Bayern’s attacking quality and ability to dominate possession.

Another major attraction is Barcelona v Aston Villa. Barcelona will look to impose their familiar possession-based style, while Villa have an opportunity to demonstrate that they can compete with Europe’s elite. It is one of the most intriguing match-ups of the week.

Manchester United v AS Roma is another eye-catching encounter, bringing together two clubs with rich European histories. Meanwhile, Villarreal face Paris Saint-Germain in a contest that could provide plenty of attacking entertainment. Feyenoord v Inter Milan also promises to be a competitive battle, with Inter’s European experience tested by a potentially hostile atmosphere in Rotterdam.

Wednesday offers an equally exciting programme. Fenerbahçe versus Liverpool is arguably the pick of the evening, with Liverpool facing a potentially intimidating atmosphere in Istanbul. Their quality and European experience will be tested by Fenerbahçe’s intensity and passionate home support.

Slavia Prague v Arsenal is another important fixture. Arsenal will be targeting victory, but travelling to Prague is unlikely to be straightforward. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig versus Manchester City promises an intriguing tactical battle between two teams that favour aggressive, attacking football.

Overall, Atlético v Bayern, Barcelona v Aston Villa and Liverpool’s trip to Fenerbahçe are the week’s must-watch encounters. With so much quality on display, supporters can expect two nights of drama and potentially significant implications for the Champions League qualification race.
