The 2026 Flanders Darts Trophy draws to a close on Sunday as the remaining 16 hopefuls battle it out in Antwerp.
Twelve seeds and four qualifiers remain in the running for the £35,000 top prize at the Antwerp Expo as they face off over two sessions.
The afternoon session plays host to the Last 16 ties, before the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final follow in the evening.
The opening tie of the Third Round features a tantalising all-Dutch clash between reigning European Champion Gian van Veen and Austrian Open finalist Kevin Doets.
Both players are still seeking out their first European Tour title, with Van Veen having defeated Gabriel Clemens 6-3 in his opener with a 101.5 average, while the unseeded Doets has already dispatched James Hurrell and Krzysztof Ratajski.
Fifth seed Gerwyn Price steps up his quest for a second European Tour title of the season with a tie against Ross Smith – who has stormed to glory at the International Open and Hungarian Darts Trophy this season.
Wessel Nijman, who has also picked up a brace of European Tour titles in 2026, comes up against his Dutch compatriot Danny Noppert – a four-time European Tour event finalist.
Stephen Bunting’s crucial deciding-leg win over Brendan Dolan on Saturday saw him climb into the provisional qualification places for the European Championship, and he now looks to strengthen that position by overcoming four-time European Tour event winner Nathan Aspinall.
Aspinall produced the stand-out performance of the second round, averaging 106 in a 6-1 demolition of Germany’s Niko Springer.
Two former World Championship semi-finalists who are yet to get their hands on European Tour silverware go head-to-head as Chris Dobey faces Ryan Searle.
Baltic Sea Darts Open champion Luke Woodhouse, meanwhile, comes up against the unseeded Damon Heta – who dumped out Michael van Gerwen in a last-leg shootout on Saturday.
European Darts Open finalist Jermaine Wattimena takes on two-time European Tour finalist Ryan Joyce – who knocked out fourth seed Josh Rock 6-3 in Saturday’s second round.
Former World Champion Rob Cross, runner-up at the Slovak Darts Open earlier this year, has already put Cristo Reyes and Martin Schindler to the sword and now takes on second seed James Wade – who swept aside Canada’s Jim Long in his opener.
The action gets under way from 12pm BST, with Last 16 and quarter-final ties to be contested over the best of 11 legs, semi-finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
