The final four face off in a quest for 2026 Premier League Darts glory at The O2 in London on Thursday.

After 16 weeks of intense competition across the UK and Europe, the top four players in the league table go head-to-head in the capital for the sport’s most prestigious invitational prize.

A sold-out O2 Arena awaits as three former Premier League champions and a former finalist vie for a record £350,000 top prize.

With semi-final fixtures based on finishing positions in the table, the opening match of the night sees league winner Luke Littler take on fourth-placed Gerwyn Price.

Luke Littler, who triumphed on debut in 2024 before finishing runner-up last year, is aiming to become only the fourth multiple champion in Premier League history.

The world number one racked up six nightly titles throughout the campaign, securing top spot by a nine-point margin, and is yet to lose a knockout match in a televised major in 2026.

The 19-year-old is chasing down a sixth consecutive major title stretching back to last November’s Grand Slam, and what would be a 13th in total.

Incredibly, Littler is yet to lose a major semi-final, having won all 16 of his previous appearances, and comes into his showdown against Price on the back of eight consecutive head-to-head wins.

Price will be out to reverse the trend, having lost 15 of his last 16 against ‘The Nuke’ in all competitions, and the Welshman is the only player of the final four yet to lift this trophy.

Runner-up in 2023, Price is making his third play-off appearance inside four years and picked up nightly titles in Week Two in Antwerp and Week Nine in Manchester.

The second semi-final sees defending champion Luke Humphries take on 2021 champion Jonny Clayton.

Humphries is bidding to join Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen as only the third player in the 21-year history of the event to successfully retain the title.

The world number two spent 11 of the 16 weeks outside of the top four, but a timely late surge – featuring final consecutive finals – saw him make it a hat-trick of play-off appearances.

Humphries was the only player of the original eight to end the regular campaign with a ton-plus tournament average (101.2) and maintained his blistering burst of form by picking up a Players Championship title last week.

The 2024 World Champion has his sights set on what could be a trilogy of Premier League finals against his great rival Littler, but must firstly end the hopes of the tenacious Welshman – who has defied the odds to reach this stage.

Clayton came into the event as the bookmaker’s favourite to finish bottom of the table, but booked his place in a fourth Finals Night in as many appearances by finishing second with 34 points.

The world number five racked up four nightly titles inside the first 11 weeks and was the only player in the field to remain inside the top four for the entirety of the campaign.

Clayton has won 11 of his 19 previous meetings with Humphries, including three of their four Premier League encounters this season.

The action gets under way from 7pm BST, with semi-final matches to be contested over the best of 19 legs and the final best of 21.
