The line-ups for the 2026 Bahrain Darts Masters and Saudi Arabia Darts Masters have been confirmed, with a host of players set to make their debuts.

Back-to-back World Champion Luke Littler and world number two Luke Humphries will headline this year’s Bahrain Masters and Saudi Arabia Masters as the 2026 World Series of Darts gets underway later this month.

The World Series campaign will commence with the fourth edition of the Bahrain Masters from January 15-16, before the PDC visits the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the first time for the Saudi Arabia Masters from January 19-20.

World number one Littler will take centre stage in January’s double-header, having celebrated victory on his World Series debut in Bahrain in 2024.

The teenage sensation will be joined in the Middle East by seven other PDC superstars – including 2024 World Champion Humphries and World Championship runner-up Gian van Veen.

European Champion Van Veen will feature alongside his Dutch compatriot Michael van Gerwen – the most successful player in World Series history.

Reigning Bahrain Masters champion Stephen Bunting will be aiming to build upon his impressive World Series performances in 2025, as 2021 World Champion Gerwyn Price makes his World Series return.

The eight-player PDC line-up is completed by Dutch star Danny Noppert – who featured in four televised ranking semi-finals in 2025 – and former World Matchplay champion Nathan Aspinall.

Each event will see the eight PDC superstars take on eight Asian representatives in round one, with the Exhibition World playing host to the Bahrain Darts Masters next week.

The Asian representatives for the Bahrain Masters include six players from the PDC Asian Tour who competed at the recent World Championship, headlined by Filipino stars Alexis Toylo and Lourence Ilagan.

Japanese duo Motomu Sakai and Ryusei Azemoto also feature, as Singapore’s darting icon Paul Lim graces the big stage along with Hong Kong’s World Cup quarter-finalist Man Lok Leung.

Completing the 16-player field will be Bahrain duo Abdulla Saeed and Basem Mahmood, who won through last month’s Bahrain Qualifiers to confirm their World Series returns.

The inaugural staging of the Saudi Arabia Masters then pits the eight PDC superstars against the top eight players from the 2025 PDC Asian Tour rankings.

Toylo, Ilagan, Sakai, Azemoto, Lim and Leung all make the trip to Saudi Arabia, as Filipino trailblazer Paolo Nebrida and Japan’s two-time World Championship qualifier Tomoya Goto also prepare to take on the PDC’s elite.

The ground-breaking event, held as part of Riyadh Season, will see darts will follow in the footsteps of other Matchroom products including boxing and snooker – which have seen lucrative events held in Saudi Arabia in recent years.

On the Netflix series Matchroom: The Greatest Showman, Turki Al-Sheikh – chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority – revealed he had his sights set on hosting major darts events in the region.

Al-Sheikh commented to Barry Hearn: “I want to do the darts, but I want to do it crazy way. Crazy concept, yeah? Crazy play, something.”

Al-Sheikh’s vision pointed towards a potential curveball in the event, having already introduced a ‘golden ball’ in snooker, offering the potential of a 167 break and an extraordinary $1 million bonus to any player who achieves the feat.

Live Darts understands no unique concept or additional prize money incentive has been agreed at this stage and that the event is likely to follow a traditional format.
