Biography
Robert ‘Grenade’ Grundy is proof that it’s never too late to pursue a dream.
The Hartlepool native spent decades in the construction industry before earning his PDC Tour Card in early 2024 and turning professional at the age of 48. In his first season he announced himself by defeating teenage sensation Luke Littler at a Players Championship event and qualified for the UK Open and European Tour, where he bowed out to Sebastian Bialecki after a battling display.
Armed with 23g Unicorn darts and a fearless attitude, Grundy is relishing his second chance at life on the oche.
