Biography
Rising star Owen Bates has quickly made waves since stepping up from the Challenge Tour.
The Exeter native finished second on the 2023 Challenge Tour Order of Merit to earn his PDC Tour Card and wasted no time in collecting silverware, winning a Challenge Tour title that year and adding two Development Tour titles in 2025. Known for his smooth rhythm and fearless approach, Bates made his World Championship debut in 2024/25 and continues to climb the rankings.
Still only in his early twenties, Bates combines natural scoring power with a calm demeanour at the oche. As he gains experience on the ProTour, he looks set to become a regular fixture at major events.
