Mario Vandenbogaerde

Belgian veteran Mario Vandenbogaerde – “Super Mario” – has enjoyed success across both the BDO and PDC systems.

Before winning his PDC Tour Card in 2022, Vandenbogaerde was a mainstay on the BDO circuit, capturing ranking titles and reaching the semi-finals of both the 2019 World Masters and 2020 Lakeside World Championship. Since switching to the PDC he has continued to excel, finishing runner-up at Players Championship 28 on the 2025 ProTour and reaching the last 16 of the 2023 Players Championship Finals.

The 52-year-old from Geluwe uses Bull’s signature darts and still sports the same measured, methodical throw that brought him success in the BDO. He remains a tough opponent with vast experience and an eye for a big finish.
