Biography
Barber-turned-pro Ryan Meikle has quietly become one of the most consistent young players on the tour.
The Suffolk left-hander began playing PDC events in 2015 and dominated the Development Tour between 2017 and 2020, winning six titles to earn his spot on the professional circuit. Known as “The Barber”, he translated that success onto the ProTour by qualifying for four TV ranking events in 2022 and progressing to the last 32 of the UK Open in March 2024.
Meikle’s calm demeanour and neat technique continue to serve him well as he targets a first senior title. With his scoring power and finishing improving, he remains a danger to more established names.
