Biography

Martin Lukeman, nicknamed ‘Smash’, made a late entry into professional darts but has rapidly climbed the rankings.

After honing his skills during lockdown, the Watford thrower committed to the circuit full-time and enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2022, reaching the World Grand Prix quarter-finals and appearing in four TV events. Although 2023 proved challenging, he bounced back strongly in 2024 with a UK Open quarter-final and a spectacular run to the Grand Slam of Darts final.

With his unorthodox throw and crowd-pleasing walk-on, Lukeman continues to grow in confidence and is determined to claim his maiden PDC title in the seasons ahead.
