Up-and-coming Englishman Scott Williams, nicknamed ‘Shaggy’, turned heads with a sensational World Championship run.

On just his second Alexandra Palace appearance he marched to the semi-finals, claiming memorable victories over Michael van Gerwen, Damon Heta and Danny Noppert. Earlier, in 2022, he made history by winning a Players Championship event without holding a Tour Card, and he followed that up with a quarter-final run at the 2024 Players Championship Finals.

With his fearless attitude, rapid throw and infectious energy, the Boston thrower is tipped for more success on both the ProTour and TV stage. As he gains experience, Williams continues to challenge established stars and climb the rankings.
