Biography
Belgian thrower Mike De Decker has enjoyed a rapid ascent to the sport’s top table.
Known as “The Real Deal”, De Decker experienced the week of his life in October 2024 when he captured the prestigious World Grand Prix, producing a superb run to win the double-start event in Leicester. Earlier in the summer he claimed his first Players Championship title, cementing his position as Belgium’s number two and showcasing his consistency on the ProTour.
Still only in his late twenties, De Decker is tipped for further success thanks to his fluent throwing style and ability to score heavily. With a major televised title already secured, he will be targeting deeper runs at future TV tournaments.
