The 2025 Nordic Darts Masters commences in Copenhagen on Friday as the PDC stars and regional representatives go head-to-head.

The third World Series event of the year features eight PDC representatives and eight Nordic & Baltic hopefuls competing for the £30,000 title at Forum Copenhagen.

Reigning champion Gerwyn Price launches the defence of his title with a clash against Norway’s Cor Dekker on opening night.

Price has picked up five World Series titles to date, including last year’s Nordic Masters and Australian Masters, and was a beaten semi-finalist in the Premier League Play-Offs at The O2 last week.

World Cup star Dekker, meanwhile, came through European Qualifying School in January to secure his Tour Card and famously landed a nine-dart finish in last year’s Hungarian Darts Trophy.

Newly-crowned Premier League champion Luke Humphries aims to pick up from where he left off in London last Thursday when he starts out against Latvian number one Madars Razma.

Humphries completed the career ‘Triple Crown’ by adding the Premier League title to his 2024 World Championship and 2024 World Matchplay triumphs, marking an eight career major.

The world number one has been drawn to face two-time European Tour semi-finalist Razma – who has struggled for form of late amid personal issues away from the oche.

Reigning World Champion Luke Littler looks to bounce back from his agonising defeat in the Premier League final when he returns to action to face Sweden’s Viktor Tingstrom.

Littler surrendered his Premier League crown to his rival Humphries after finishing top of the table and now turns his attention towards challenging for a fourth World Series title, having claimed a hat-trick of silverware in his debut season.

Tingstrom, 24, faces a formidable task on his World Series debut, having amassed just £2,500 in ranking prize money since earning his Tour Card at the beginning of the year.

Fresh from clinching his second European Tour title at the European Darts Open on Sunday, Nathan Aspinall looks to continue his blistering run of form when he meets home hopeful Benjamin Reus.

Aspinall bounced back from his Premier League Play-Off disappointment by storming to the title in Leverkusen and climbing to sixth in the Order of Merit in the process.

Tour Card holder Reus is the sole Danish representative in the field and will be eyeing a huge upset after suffering three consecutive 6-0 whitewashes in his previous Nordic Masters appearances.

Meanwhile, last year’s runner-up Rob Cross faces a tricky opener against in-form Swede Andreas Harrysson.

Cross finished second from bottom in the Premier League table and has recently dropped to ninth in the Order of Merit following a low-key season so far, despite winning a Players Championship event.

Harrysson enjoyed a superb run to the Last 16 of the recent European Open, defeating Raymond van Barneveld in Round One before thrashing Michael Smith 6-1 with a 106 average, though he was eventually halted 6-4 by Damon Heta.

Chris Dobey, who replaces former champion Michael van Gerwen in the event, takes on Swedish star Jeffrey de Graaf in the opening tie of the evening.

Former Masters champion Dobey secured a sixth place finish in the Premier League and has already picked up a Players Championship title in 2025.

De Graaf enjoyed an impressive run to the Last 16 of the 2024/25 World Championship and was runner-up to Martin Schindler at Players Championship 8 back in March.

Elsewhere, world number four Stephen Bunting takes on Sweden’s Oskar Lukasiak, while recent Dutch Darts Championship winner Jonny Clayton comes up against Lithuanian number one Darius Labanauskas – a former World Championship quarter-finalist.

The action gets under way from 6pm BST, with First Round matches to be contested over the best of 11 legs.
