The 2025 Winmau World Masters takes place in Milton Keynes, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The newly-revamped tournament will take place at the Marshall Arena from January 30 to February 2 and will feature the top 24 players on the PDC Order of Merit joined by a further eight players who progressed from the Preliminary Rounds on Wednesday.

The historic event was first held in 1975 and remained under Winmau sponsorship as part of the British Darts Organisation until 2018.

It was rebranded as the One80 L-style World Masters in 2019 before returning as the Winmau World Masters in 2022 with the WDF following the collapse of the BDO.

Now, in a landmark move, the PDC has launched its own version of the tournament in a major overhaul which will feature a return to the traditional format.

Stephen Bunting claimed The Masters title in 2024 – the 12th and final staging of the non-ranked event – which featured solely the top 24 players from the PDC Order of Merit.

Bunting is among the top 24 players who start out in the opening round of the televised stage, alongside reigning World Champion Luke Littler and world number one Luke Humphries.

Michael van Gerwen, the 2006 World Master, also features alongside former World Champions Peter Wright, Gary Anderson, Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price and Rob Cross.

Former PDC Masters champions James Wade, Jonny Clayton, Joe Cullen and Chris Dobey are also among the world’s top 24.

Jermaine Wattimena, Florian Hempel, William O’Connor, Willie Borland, Kevin Doets, Andy Baetens, Bradley Brooks and Cameron Menzies are the eight players to have progressed from Wednesday’s qualifying rounds.

First Round matches are to be contested over the best of five sets, while Second Round and Quarter-Final matches are best of seven, semi-finals best of nine and the final best of 11. All sets are the best of three legs.
