The Austrian Darts Open returns to Premstätten in 2024, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The fifth of 13 European Tour events this year sees 48 players competing for £175,000 in prize money at the Steiermarkhalle from April 26-28.
A notable change to the qualifying criteria this year means the top 16 players in the PDC Order of Merit qualify automatically alongside the 16 highest ranked players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit – who are seeded in the draw.
A further ten players qualified via the Tour Card holder qualifying event, plus four Host Nation qualifiers, one Nordic & Baltic Associate Member qualifier and one East European qualifier.
Jonny Clayton is the defending champion after he defeated Josh Rock 8-6 in last year’s final to claim his second European Tour title.
Clayton is the fifth seed in a high quality field which also includes top seed Dave Chisnall and Premier League stars Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross and Peter Wright.
Damon Heta, Joe Cullen, Stephen Bunting, Ross Smith and Ryan Searle are also among the seeded contingent.
James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, Dimitri van den Bergh and Chris Dobey also feature, while qualifiers include Danny Lauby, Wessel Nijman and Ritchie Edhouse.
Luke Humphries, Gary Anderson and Gerwyn Price have withdrawn from the event and have been replaced by Richard Veenstra, Ricky Evans and Daniel Klose from the Reserve List.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
