The third European Tour title of the season is up for grabs at the International Darts Open on Sunday as the last 16 lock horns in Riesa.
A £30,000 top prize is on offer at the SACHSENarena as nine seeds and seven qualifiers battle it out over two sessions.
The afternoon session plays host to the Third Round ties, before the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and final follow in the evening.
Gerwyn Price continues the defence of his title and steps up his quest for a fifth International Open title in the space of seven years when he takes on home favourite Ricardo Pietreczko.
Price has dominated this event in recent years, accounting for half of his European Tour titles, and the Premier League star now meets German ace Pietreczko on a big stage for the first time.
Pietreczko held his nerve to edge out ten-time major winner James Wade in a deciding leg on Saturday and knows what it takes to go the distance on the Euro Tour, having triumphed at last year’s German Championship.
Meanwhile, world number one Luke Humphries steps up his bid for back-to-back Euro Tour titles when he faces Masters champion Stephen Bunting.
Humphries has racked up six Euro Tour titles since 2022 and got his latest campaign off and running with a dominant 6-2 win over Jose De Sousa on Saturday with the aid of six 180s.
Bunting brushed aside host nation qualifier Michael Unterbuchner 6-1 with a 101.5 average in his opener and will be keen to avenge his 10-2 defeat to Humphries in last month’s UK Open.
World Matchplay champion Nathan Aspinall faces a familiar opponent in 2022 UK Open champion Danny Noppert.
The pair met seven times last season, including four on the Euro Tour, while Aspinall notably prevailed 11-9 in their clash at the World Matchplay.
Aspinall followed up his deciding-leg win over Owen Bates by averaging 113 in a 6-2 rout of Jonny Clayton, while ninth seed Noppert overcame Dimitri van den Bergh 6-4 with a 101 average in his opener.
German number one Gabriel Clemens looks to pull off another roof-raising win when he comes up against former Masters champion Chris Dobey.
Clemens has already put Peter Wright and Dirk van Duijvenbode to the sword this weekend, but now faces a player who averaged 111.2 in a 6-4 win over Krzysztof Ratajski on Saturday.
Fourth seed Damon Heta, a Euro Tour event winner in 2022, faces Ryan Searle – seeking his first Euro Tour title having reached a maiden semi-final in last year’s Baltic Sea Darts Open.
Former European Champion Ross Smith recovered from 5-2 down and survived multiple match darts to sink William O’Connor in Round Two, and he now faces in-form Cameron Menzies – who backed up victory over Simon Whitlock with a dramatic 6-5 success over Josh Rock.
The opening match of the afternoon sees home hero Martin Schindler, semi-finalist in the recent German Darts Grand Prix, take on dangerous Dutchman Richard Veenstra – who has already seen off Andrew Gilding and Dave Chisnall en route to Round Three.
Premier League star Rob Cross, who battled past Gian van Veen in a deciding leg on Saturday night, faces a resurgent Ritchie Edhouse – who produced a spectacular 160 checkout in the deciding leg to stun Michael Smith with a 100.5 average last time out.
The action gets under way from 12pm BST, with Third Round and Quarter-Final ties to be contested over the best of 11 legs, Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
