European Tour action continues with the 2023 Belgian Darts Open, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The seventh of 13 Euro Tour events this season features 48 players battling it out for £175,000 in prize money at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze from May 5-7.
The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of March 7) are seeded and enter at the Second Round stage, while 32 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.
The unseeded players are made up of 24 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, the two highest placed Belgian players of the Order of Merit, two Host Nation Qualifiers, two Associate Member qualifiers, a Nordic & Baltic qualifier and an East European qualifier.
Dave Chisnall is the defending champion after he overcame Andrew Gilding 8-6 in last year’s final.
Chizzy is bidding for back-to-back titles, having claimed the Dutch Championship crown last weekend, while Luke Humphries is seeded number one after picking up four Euro Tour titles last season and finishing runner-up in Leeuwarden.
Third seed Michael van Gerwen remains in pursuit of a first Euro Tour title of the year, and is joined by fellow Premier League stars Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Nathan Aspinall and Jonny Clayton.
Dirk van Duijvenbode, Joe Cullen, Rob Cross and Josh Rock are also among the seeds, while notable qualifiers include Gary Anderson, Krzysztof Ratajski, Chris Dobey Ross Smith, Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
