European Tour action continues with the 2023 Austrian Darts Open, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The fifth of 13 Euro Tour events this season features 48 players battling it out for £175,000 in prize money at the Steiermarkhalle in Premstätten from April 21-23.

The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of March 7) are seeded and enter at the Second Round stage, while 32 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.

The unseeded players are made up of 24 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, the two highest placed Austrian players of the Order of Merit, two Host Nation Qualifiers, two Associate Member qualifiers, a Nordic & Baltic qualifier and an East European qualifier.

Michael van Gerwen is the defending champion after he overcame Danny Noppert 8-5 in last year’s final.

The Dutchman has claimed this title on four occasions over the past decade and returns as the number three seed.

Luke Humphries is seeded number one, having picked up four Euro Tour titles last season, while this year’s Baltic Sea Darts Open winner Dave Chisnall is the number two seed.

Reigning World Champion Michael Smith and Premier League stars Peter Wright, Nathan Aspinall and Jonny Clayton are also among the seeds, as well as UK Open champion Andrew Gilding, in-form Dirk van Duijvenbode, Rob Cross and Josh Rock.

Qualifiers include five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld, Masters champion Chris Dobey, Krzysztof Ratajski, Daryl Gurney and Simon Whitlock.

All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
