The 2022 European Tour commences with the International Darts Open in Riesa, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.
The first of 13 European Tour events this season features 48 players battling it out for £140,000 in prize money at the SACHSENarena from February 25-27.
The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of June 28, 2021) are seeded and enter at the Second Round stage, while 32 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.
The 32 unseeded players are made up of 23 Tour Card Holder Qualifiers (from July 2021), two Associate Member Qualifiers, five Host Nation Qualifiers, one Nordic & Baltic Qualifier and one East European Qualifier.
Joe Cullen is the number one seed and claimed this title when the event was last held in 2020, defeating Michael van Gerwen 8-5 in the final.
Van Gerwen, winner of a record 32 European Tour titles, is the number four seed, with Jose de Sousa second and World Champion Peter Wright the third seed.
Gerwyn Price, bidding to retain the world number one spot, is seeded five, while fellow Premier League stars Jonny Clayton, James Wade and Michael Smith also compete.
Dirk van Duijvenbode, Krzysztof Ratajski and Damon Heta are also among the seeds, while Nathan Aspinall is set to make his first competitive appearance of the season after being sidelined through injury.
Qualifiers include the likes of Dimitri Van den Bergh, Rob Cross, Daryl Gurney, Ryan Searle and Simon Whitlock.
All matches up to and including the Quarter-Finals are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.
