The race to the 2021 Players Championship Finals | Latest Players Championship Order of Merit
The race to secure places in the 2021 Players Championship Finals culminates at PDC Super Series 8 in Barnsley.
Following Players Championship 30 on Thursday November 4, the top 64 players on the Players Championship Order of Merit will qualify for the televised finals at the end of the month.
The Players Championship Finals will return to Butlins Minehead from November 26-28, with £500,000 in prize money on offer.
A number of places remain up for grabs in the main event, which will see players drawn together based on their finishing position in the Players Championship Order of Merit – based solely on ProTour events held this year.
Going into PDC Super Series 8, the likes of Simon Whitlock, Max Hopp, Glen Durrant, Scott Waites and John Henderson are below the cut-off point of the top 64.
Whitlock, Keane Barry, Niels Zonneveld and Ted Evetts are just £250 adrift of Kevin Doets and Gordon Mathers – who occupy the 63rd and 64th places respectively.
Jose de Sousa is currently top of the Order of Merit, followed closely by Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton and Michael Smith.
Former World Champions Raymond van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis are set to make their televised returns in Minehead.
