Biography

Veteran Englishman Ian White – known as “Diamond” – has been a model of consistency on the professional circuit.

White has held a PDC Tour Card since 2010 and over the last decade has quietly accumulated an impressive haul of ranking silverware. He claimed his first Players Championship crown in 2013 and went on to win 13 non-televised titles, including a trio of European Tour trophies in 2018-19 as he climbed into the world’s top eight.

Although a televised major has so far eluded him, the Stoke-on-Trent thrower reached the semi-finals of the 2019 Players Championship Finals and continues to be a force on the tour. His smooth, textbook throwing action and calm demeanour make him a player opponents always respect.
