The Modus Super Series takes place each week, and a live stream is available to watch all matches online.

Replacing the Live League, which has taken place since 2020, the Modus Super Series will be hosted at a new, purpose-built venue in Portsmouth and will feature more than 30 hours of matches from Monday to Saturday every week.

The event will feature non PDC Tour Card holders and legends of the sport, including the likes of Martin Adams, Fallon Sherrock, Lisa Ashton, Neil Duff, Kevin Painter, Robert Thornton, Mikuru Suzuki and Thibault Tricole.

A series of darts legends are also expected to compete, with an annual prize fund in excess of £1 million up for grabs.

Launching on Saturday September 3, the Modus Super Series will feature two sessions (from 9.30am and 10pm BST) each day, with selected sessions being held in front of a live crowd.

A total of 12 players will compete in group matches from Monday to Friday, with six qualifiers moving through to Finals Night on Saturday.

Every 13 weeks, a Champions Week will take place to determine the overall winner from the 12 weekly winners as they vie for a lucrative £20,000 top prize.

All matches will be available to watch live on laptop, mobile and tablet in various regions worldwide.

Modus Super Series launched with £1 million annual prize fund

A new Modus Super Series has been confirmed featuring a selection of non PDC Tour Card holders competing for an annual prize fund in excess of £1 million.

Replacing the Live League, which has taken place since 2020, the Modus Super Series will be hosted at a new, purpose-built venue in Portsmouth and will feature more than 30 hours of matches from Monday to Saturday every week.

Launching on Saturday September 3, the Super Series will feature two sessions (from 9.30am and 10pm GMT) each day.

A total of 12 players will compete in group matches from Monday to Friday, with six qualifiers moving into Finals Night on Saturday.

Every 13 weeks, a Champions Week will take place to determine the overall winner from the 12 weekly winners as they vie for a £20,000 top prize.

The event will feature non PDC Tour Card holders and legends of the sport, including the likes of Martin Adams, Fallon Sherrock, Lisa Ashton, Neil Duff, Kevin Painter, Robert Thornton, Mikuru Suzuki and Thibault Tricole.

Other notable names to have featured in the recent Live League include Keith Deller, Christian Kist, Paul Hogan and James Hurrell.

The commentary roster for the Super Series will include Paul Nicholson, Mark Webster, Chris Mason, Chris Murphy and Abigail Davies.

Billy Lovell of MODUS Events and Management said: “Darts is a sport with global appeal and a hugely passionate following.

“The addition of the MODUS Super Series to the calendar guarantees must-watch action as a far larger number of players will now feature regularly at the top level.

They will also gain crucial experience in front of a TV and live audience, potentially earning prize money that could bridge the gap to going full-time pro.”
