The first televised event of the season sees the big names head to Milton Keynes for the 2022 Ladbrokes Masters, and you can follow the latest results and schedule of play here.

The 2022 Masters takes place from January 28-30 at the Marshall Arena and will feature 24 players competing for the first silverware of the campaign.

Players ranked 9-24 will start out in the First Round, while players ranked 1-8 will enter the tournament at the Second Round stage on Saturday January 29.

The event concludes on Sunday January 30 with the Quarter-Finals in the afternoon session and the Semi-Finals and final in the evening.

Jonny Clayton is the defending champion after he defeated Mervyn King 11-8 in last year’s final behind closed doors.

This will be the tenth staging of The Masters, with five different players having claimed the title since the event began in 2013.

Michael van Gerwen has lifted the trophy on a record five occasions, while James Wade, Phil Taylor, Peter Wright and Clayton have one apiece.

Dirk van Duijvenbode, Ryan Searle, Luke Humphries and Gabriel Clemens will make their debuts in this year’s event, while Devon Petersen replaces the injured Nathan Aspinall in the line-up and Simon Whitlock replaces Danny Noppert – who also withdrew.

World number one Gerwyn Price is looking to claim this title for the first time, while two-time World Champion Gary Anderson and two-time world finalist Michael Smith are also among the seeds.

First Round matches are to be contested over the best of 11 legs, with Second Round and Quarter-Final ties best of 19 and Semi-Finals and final best of 21.
