The 2022/23 World Darts Championship takes place at Ally Pally, and we’ve picked out our best betting tips for each day.
The sport’s show-piece event runs from December 15, 2022 to January 3, 2023 as the stars of the oche compete for the Sid Waddell Trophy and £2.5 million in prize money.
The 30th staging of the PDC World Championship will feature the top 32 players from the PDC Order of Merit, the next highest 32 ranked players from the ProTour Order of Merit, plus a further 32 International Qualifiers.
Peter Wright is the reigning World Champion after he defeated Michael Smith 7-4 in January’s final to claim the crown for the second time in three years.
Gerwyn Price is the number one seed as he bids to land a second world title to follow up his triumph behind closed doors in 2021.
Third seed Michael van Gerwen is vying for a fourth world crown, having already racked up the Premier League, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and Players Championship Finals titles this season.
Other former PDC World Champions in action include Raymond van Barneveld, Adrian Lewis, Gary Anderson and Rob Cross.
Grand Slam champion Michael Smith, four-time European Tour winner Luke Humphries, former Premier League champion Jonny Clayton, former UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall and ten-time major winner James Wade are among the other seeded stars.
