German Darts Championship 2024 Betting Tips and Accumulator Predictions
The 2024 German Darts Championship takes place in Hildesheim, and we’ve picked out our best betting tips for each day.
The ninth of 13 European Tour events this year sees 48 players competing for £175,000 in prize money at Halle 39 from August 30 to September 1.
The top 16 players in the PDC Order of Merit qualify automatically alongside the 16 highest ranked players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit – who are seeded in the draw.
A further ten players qualified via the Tour Card holder qualifying event, plus four Host Nation qualifiers, one Nordic & Baltic qualifier and one East European qualifier.
Ricardo Pietreczko is the defending champion after he defeated Peter Wright 8-4 in last year’s final to claim a maiden PDC ranking title.
The seeded contingent in Hildesheim includes former World Champions Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting, as well as Premier League champion Luke Littler, top seed Dave Chisnall and German number one Martin Schindler.
Qualifiers include five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld, two-time World Champion Peter Wright, ten-time major winner James Wade and UK Open champion Dimitri van den Bergh.
Gary Anderson, Michael Smith, Josh Rock and Nathan Aspinall have withdrawn from the event and have been replaced by Stephen Burton, Dylan Slevin, Mensur Suljovic and Robert Owen from the Reserve List.
