The final European Tour event of 2023 sees the German Darts Championship take place in Hildesheim, and we’ve picked out our best betting tips for each day.
The 13th Euro Tour event of the campaign features 48 players battling it out for £175,000 in prize money at Halle 39 from October 13-15.
Following the conclusion of the event, the top 32 players on the European Tour Order of Merit will secure a place in the upcoming European Championship.
The top 16 players from the ProTour Order of Merit (as of August 23rd) are seeded in Hildesheim and enter at the Second Round stage, while 32 qualifiers battle it out for the right to join them.
Michael van Gerwen claimed the title in 2022 courtesy of an 8-5 victory over Rob Cross in the final.
Van Gerwen is among a star-studded field which also includes top seed Dave Chisnall – winner of three Euro Tour titles this year, second seed Damon Heta and third seed Luke Humphries – the newly-crowned World Grand Prix champion.
Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Jonny Clayton, Nathan Aspinall, Josh Rock and Dirk van Duijvenbode are also among the seeded contingent.
Qualifiers include ten-time major winner James Wade, Masters champion Chris Dobey, former BDO World Champions Stephen Bunting and Scott Waites and PDC World Youth finalist Gian van Veen.
