Darren Webster, Jonny Clayton and James Wilson are among the players to reach career-high ranking positions following the 2018 World Grand Prix.

The prestigious double-start tournament carried a total prize fund of £400,000 and resulted in a number of notable movements in the Order of Merit.

Webster climbed above Raymond van Barneveld into 13th spot for the first time in his career after reaching the Last 16 in Dublin.

Welsh ace Clayton moved up two places to 19th after qualifying for the Grand Prix for the first time, though he suffered a straight sets defeat to Gary Anderson in Round One.

Wilson enjoyed a superb run to the Quarter-Finals and has subsequently climbed two places to 26th, having also reached a Players Championship Semi-Final at the Citywest a week earlier.

Jermaine Wattimena moves into the world's top 32 for the first time after defeating Mervyn King on his Dublin debut to reach the Second Round.

Wattimena's fellow countryman Danny Noppert continues his steady rise in his first season as a PDC Tour Card holder, moving up a further four places to 59th after also winning his first Players Championship title at the same venue.

Ricky Evans, one of nine debutant's in this year's Grand Prix, climbs three places to 49th, while Josh Payne is also up three places to 50th.

Former Lakeside Champion Steve Beaton defeated Rob Cross for the second year running in Round One and has climbed two places to 23rd, while Gerwyn Price has leapfrogged James Wade into eleventh.

Notable fallers include Benito van de Pas, whose failure to qualify for the Grand Prix saw him slide four places to 27th, and Terry Jenkins - who slips five places to 61st and in danger of losing his Tour Card at the end of the season.
