Corey Cadby has responded to a search warrant issued by Wyndham Police which stated he failed to appear in court last month.

A post appeared on the Wyndham Police Facebook page on Tuesday asking the public in Victoria, Australia for information regarding Cadby's whereabouts.

The post, which has received more than 300 shares, stated that Cadby had failed to appear at Werribee Magistrates Court on September 24 in relation to 'traffic and other related matters.'

Cadby, however, insists he has already attended court since the date of the original hearing, posting on Facebook: 'Cheers for the heads up, I appreciate it.

'But for the people who are interested about what you're seeing, with everything that has been going on, I missed a court date in regards to alleged driving with no licence, which I do have. But I did attend court after the date I missed.'

Cadby has remained in Australia since his last competitive appearance in the World Series in August and has not featured in a PDC ranking event since the Czech Open back in June.

The 2018 UK Open runner-up has dropped to 63rd in the PDC Order of Merit and is in danger of losing his Tour Card at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old missed 12 months of competitive action following the 2018 UK Open due to visa complications and later admitted to suffering with stress and depression.

He made a promising return to action, picking up a Development Tour title in April, while also qualifying for his first European Tour event in Prague - where he reached the Last 16.

It is unclear whether 'The King' will return to the UK before the end of the season, having not qualified for any of the remaining TV majors.
