The draw for the seventh PDC Players Championship event of the season has been confirmed, with 128 players in action in Wigan.

The pair of £75,000 live-streamed floor tournaments will feature a star-studded field of 128 players battling it out at the Robin Park Sports Centre from March 16-17.

Prize money acquired will count towards both the ProTour Order of Merit and the Main Order of Merit, with a £10,000 top prize up for grabs on both days.

With reigning World Champion Michael van Gerwen opting to skip this weekend's events, his close rivals will be aiming to cash in and claim their first title of the season.

World Matchplay champion Gary Anderson makes his first ranking event appearance of the season, while world number two Rob Cross, world finalist Michael Smith, former UK Open champion Peter Wright and fellow Premier League stars Gerwyn Price, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade and Daryl Gurney are among the other front-runners.

Three-time Lakeside Champion Glen Durrant will be aiming to add to his title tally, while the likes of Adrian Lewis, Dave Chisnall and Ian White also look to make their mark.

Play commences from 12pm BST, with all matches from Round One to the Quarter-Finals contested over the best of 11 legs, Semi-Finals best of 13 and the final best of 15.

Selected matches from two boards are streamed exclusively live online with commentary throughout the day.
