The waiting is over as the World Darts Championship resumes on Thursday afternoon, and we've picked out another value treble for you to follow.

Just 20 players are left standing in race to lift the Sid Waddell Trophy on New Year's Day, with four Third Round ties still to be played before the competition reaches its business end at Alexandra Palace.

Top seed Michael van Gerwen, reigning champion Rob Cross and World Matchplay champion Gary Anderson all booked their Fourth Round spots prior to the Christmas break, now a host of other key challengers aim to join them.

All matches are to be contested over the best of seven sets (all sets are the best of five legs). A tie-break is in operation where the final set must be won by two clear legs. If the score reaches five-all, the 11th leg will be a sudden-death leg.

Thursday's Order of Play

Devon Petersen v Steve West (R3)
Dimitri van den Bergh v Luke Humphries (R3)
Michael Smith v John Henderson (R3)
