The oldest major tournament in world darts takes place in Bridlington this weekend and you can follow all the latest results and fixtures here.

The 45th staging of the Winmau World Masters sees 48 players battle it out for the £25,000 top prize at the Bridlington Spa from October 3-7.

The top 16 players are seeded in the draw and will enter at the Last 32 stage.

Krzysztof Ratajski claimed the title in 2017 after a 6-1 victory over Mark McGeeney in the final, but the Pole's switch to the PDC means he will not be competing in this year's event.

Lakeside Champion Glen Durrant is the number one seed as he bids to make it three World Masters titles, while former Lakeside champions Scott Waites and Scott Mitchell among the big names vying for glory.

Lorraine Winstanley is the defending women's champion after defeating Corrine Hammond 5-2 in the final.

Men's First Round, Second Round and Last 16 ties are to be contested over the best of five sets, with Quarter-Finals best of seven, Semi-Finals best of nine and the final best of 11. All sets are the best of three legs.
