Biography
James Wade is the sports most successful left-hander and a fixture among darts elite for nearly two decades.
Wade burst onto the scene with three nine-dart finishes and runner-up spots in major finals in 2006 before lifting the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix titles in 2007. He went on to win the Premier League in 2009 and added a host of televised titles, including UK Opens in 2008, 2011 and 2021, and the European Championship and World Series Finals in 2018.
Nicknamed “The Machine”, Wade has amassed ten televised PDC titles, almost 30 floor event victories and four televised nine-darters. A master of set-play darts, he remains a formidable opponent on the big stage.
