About Us

  • Jonathan Davies Editor
    Jonathan Davies

Jonathan is a freelance sports journalist currently studying his final year of Sports Journalism at Staffordshire University.

He has been in love with the game since the age of two, when his parents brought him a mini table for Christmas.

His work placement experiences include assisting World Snooker throughout the duration of the 2014 World Championship, where he wrote the match reports and occasional features for the official website.

He also worked with Matchroom Sport at that year’s Champion of Champions where he carried out the post-match interviews for the World Snooker YouTube channel, and ran a live blog on the official tournament website which generated over 11,000 views through the week.

Over the past year, he has developed some good contacts in the industry and had several articles published across a variety of media for his final project.

His other interests include Football and Darts, while he is a keen Snooker player with a break of 102 (albeit from a line-up!)

  • Martin Smith Editor
    Martin Smith

I am an enthusiastic darts writer and have followed the sport for a number of years - from the Pro Tour all the way up to the World Championships.

I have covered sport in the past for the likes of The Mirror, Nuts Magazine and several online sites, such as Well Red Magazine. My experience has mainly been within football and martial arts, but I have an active interest in darts (I provided leg-on-leg updates for The Mirror's twitter account for a previous World Championships) and I have for several years attended the events in Blackpool and Bolton.
In my spare time you'll usually find me at the oche throwing a few 22g arrows and my other interests include writing about football.
