The 15-day, £1million event features 72 players from all corners of the globe battling it out for the biggest prize in the sport at London's historic Ally Pally venue.

Christmas simply wouldn't be Christmas without the World Championship, and this year, the fortnight feast of tungsten returns bigger and better than ever, with record ticket sales as well as an abundance of in-form players and mouth-watering ties.
