Terry Jenkins should be able to use his experience to beat young Belgian Kim Huybrechts in the opening round of the 2012 World Matchplay on Saturday evening.
Terry Jenkins had a poor year in 2011. He went out in the first round of the World Matchplay and the second round of the European Championships and lost his place in the Premier League but the Bull is fighting back and is slowly climbing back up the world rankings.
A quarter final place at the World Championships was followed by a win at the Speedy UK Open and the Englishman is now poised for a big run at the World Matchplay in Blackpool. He opens up against Kim Huybrechts and is even money at Betfred
to beat the Belgian.
26-year-old Huybrechts is one of the new faces of world darts but he is still yet to really prove himself at the highest level. He reached the quarter finals of the World Championships this year but he remains ranked in the low 30s and is yet to show that he has the mentality to become a consistent top 10 player. He is 10/11 at Paddy Power
to beat Jenkins but we're backing the Bull to use his experience to make the second round at the Winter Gardens.
