Thirty two of the world's top players will compete in a group stage format at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall over nine days for the £100,000 first prize.

The draw, conducted on Monday, has pitted together a number of top players, with Phil Taylor beginning his campaign against 19 year-old debutant James Hubbard.

The Power also faces old rival Mervyn King as well as Steve Beaton, who knocked him out of the competition last year.

Scott Waites will begin the defence of his title in Group A alongside Mark Walsh, Michael van Gerwen and fellow BDO player Tony O'Shea.

World champion Adrian Lewis will be joined in the final group by Co Stompe, Martin Phillips and rapid throwing Dutchman Vincent van der Voort.

Group D, arguably the 'group of death', sees 2010 finalist James Wade take on floor stars Justin Pipe and Dave Chisnall as well as the gritty Terry Jenkins.

The schedule of play will be announced during the week, however the players in Groups A-D will play on Saturday night, Sunday night and Tuesday night, with the players in Groups E-H playing on Sunday afternoon, Monday night and Wednesday night.

The players listed first and fourth in each group will meet in the opening matches, and the players named second and third will also clash - i.e. Scott Waites plays Michael van Gerwen and Mark Walsh plays Tony O'Shea.

Title sponsors William Hill will be streaming numerous matches through their online live streaming service. A wide range of betting markets for the event are also available.

The William Hill Grand Slam of Darts will be played from November 12-20, with tickets still available from the Wolves Civic Box Office or on 0870 320 7000.
