The tournament is second in the new series of overseas events and will be held from June 22-24 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, featuring the world's top 32 players joined by the 32 qualifiers who have won through the UK, Home Nation and European qualifying events.

Prize money earned counts towards the PDC Order of Merit, ProTour Order of Merit and European Order of Merit, meaning the event could shake up the race for World Matchplay qualification places as the cut off looms.

Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis will compete in their first ever European Tour events after missing out on the inugural trip to Austria for the first event won by Justin Pipe.

Raymond van Barneveld, Michael van Gerwen and Co Stompe head a strong Dutch contingent, while the likes of Andree Welge and Bernd Roith taking to the stage in front of their home crowd.

The straight knockout event runs from Friday June 22 to Sunday June 24 at the Temprodrom in Berlin. All matches will be played over the best of 11 legs, with the non-televised event open to the public.
