The tournament is second in the new series of overseas events and will be held from June 22-24 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, featuring the world's top 32 players joined by the 32 qualifiers who have won through the UK, Home Nation and European qualifying events.

Number one seed Phil Taylor has been handed a first round tie against young newcomer Jerry Hendriks from Holland, with the Power looking to get back to winning ways after losing out to Robert Thornton in the recent UK Open final.

Justin Pipe became the winner of the inaugural event held in Austria in April and faces a tough opener against another Dutch wonderkid in Michael van Gerwen.

World Champion Adrian Lewis faces World Youth Champion James Hubbard in a high-profile clash, while world number three James Wade takes on Austria's Mensur Suljovic in a repeat of their 2010 World Championship clash which saw Suljovic cause a major upset.

Raymond van Barneveld kicks off against fellow countryman Mareno Michels, as UK Open nine dart hero Gary Anderson takes on the experienced Michael Barnard.

The non-televised public event will see games split across two stages in Berlin, and played in two sessions on Friday June 22. The schedule of play will be announced in due course.
