The third European Tour event enters its' final day on Sunday as the 16 remaining players bid for glory in Düsseldorf.
The tournament has thrown up its fair share of talking points so far, including Richie Burnett's 121 first round average, numerous last leg deciders and big name exits in the early rounds.
The £82,100 event also features a gripping sideshow, with a host of players battling for the few remaining places in the televised World Matchplay later this month.
Dave Chisnall started as the 9/1 pre-tournament favourite and has now been slashed to 9/2 after cruising through his opening two matches and seeing many of his title challengers fall away.
Raymond van Barneveld has gone somewhat under the radar and is installed as the 5/1 second favourite; he was impressive in seeing off Brendan Dolan and should have no problem in disposing of his young fellow countryman Gino Vos to make it into the last eight.
James Wade and Simon Whitlock have been rock-steady so far and are both on offer at 11/2 for the title, with a gap appearing in price before Mervyn King at 12/1.
UK Open champion Robert Thornton is a 16/1 chance but must first knock out Simon Whitlock if he is to progress any further, meanwhile World Youth Champion James Hubbard offers each-way value at 28/1.
Young sensation Hubbard has held his nerve in last leg deciders against Andy Hamilton and Steve Brown so far and is in need of a good run to keep his slim World Matchplay qualification hopes alive.
Sunday sees the third round games played in the afternoon session before the tournament concludes with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in the evening session, when the destiny of the £15,000 first prize is decided.
