The first round of the BDO World Darts Championship is nearly complete, with three matches taking place at Frimley Green tonight which will complete the second round line-up.

First up on the oche is Tony West, the number 11 seed who will face Belgian opposition in the form of Geert de Vos. West has never gone further than the second round in this tournament and that was in 2005.

The second match of the evening between Benito Van Der Pas and Alan Norris should be close, with the Dutchman slight outsider with bet365 to win the match despite being the seeded player.

Finally, there is the match featuring Dean Winstanley, one of the favourites to win this year’s title and the number three seed reached the final of both the World Championship and the World Masters last year.

Monday 9 January order of play

Tony West v Geert de Vos (18:30 GMT)
Benito Van Der Pas v Alan Norris (19:30 GMT)
Dean Winstanley v Joey Ten Berge (20:30 GMT)
