Just six players remain in the compeition and will all believe they have what it takes to become BDO world champion.

Tony O'Shea established himself as the man to beat after dumping out reigning champion Martin Adams last night, but the rest of the field will be hoping they can also mount a serious title challenge.

The final two Semi-Final matches will be played tonight, starting with Dutch star Christian Kist versus Alan Norris.

Norris, appearing in his fourth successive World Championship, is enjoying his best ever run in the event and will be full of confidence after defeating the well fancied Dean Winstanley in the last round.

Dutchman Kist has impressed with his high scoring and coolness on the big stage so far and is favourite to progress.

Darting villain Ted Hankey continues his bid for a third world title against rank outsider Martin Atkins at 8pm.

Hankey produced a terrific showing to knock out Scott Waites and has seemingly rediscovered his best form at the worlds.

He faces veteran Martin Atkins who has also enjoyed a fine run en route to this stage. The Assassin will be hoping to strike down The Count tonight for a place in the Semi's.

The action gets underway at 6.30 from Frimley Green, with matches played over the best of nine sets.
