The unique event, known as the 'FA Cup of darts' kicks off on Thursday June 7 and features matches from the preliminary round up to the second round before the big guns enter the fray the following evening.

The tournament contains a prize fund of £200,000 and sees a number of amateur qualifiers given the chance to become giant killers due to the nature of the open draw.

The professionals ranked from 64-114 in the UK Open Order of Merit are drawn with the amateur qualifiers for the Preliminary Round and First Round games on the opening night.

The players ranked from 33-64 then come in at the Second Round stage later in the evening, before the 32 winners from those games are drawn alongside the top 32 professionals for Friday's Third Round.

The top 32 players, including Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson, come out to play on Friday evening alongside the 32 survivors from Thursday's play, with the non-seeded draw meaning any ties are possible.
