Adrian Lewis and Andy Hamilton will do battle once again, just over a month since they contested the World Championship final at Ally Pally.

The Stoke duo played a big part in what was arguably the best World Championship of all time and are likely to provide another highly entertaining match over a much shorter format this week.

Hamilton will be out for revenge after under-performing in the world final and seeing Jackpot lift the title for the second year running.

Two darting titans will round off the night in a mouthwatering clash as 15-time world champion Phil Taylor faces in-form Dutchman Raymond van Barneveld.

The pair have played out many classic matches over the years, none more so than the 2007 world final which saw Barney come from three sets behind to win the title in a dramatic sudden death decider.

Taylor hit the headlines with a nine dart finish in Aberdeen last week and has laid down a marker with two outstanding showings so far.

Barney has also recaptured something like his best form, drawing both of his matches with fine scoring performances. He appears to have demonstrated a new-found mental strength, but that is certain to be put to the test by The Power on Thursday.

Table-topper Simon Whitlock opens up the night against newcomer Kevin Painter at 7pm.

Painter was on the receiving end of a nine-darter last week and was blown away despite establishing a commanding lead against Taylor. He will be hoping to bounce back against the dangerous Aussie this time around.

Whitlock has established himself as one of the game's most consistent players; his run to the Semi-Finals at Ally Pally despite injury earned him the respect of many and he will be out to stay at the top of the league for as long as possible.

The third match sees Gary Anderson take on James Wade, with both striving for consistency in the league.

Despite losing his opening game, Anderson bounced back with a win over Andy Hamilton in front of his home crowd last week. His finishing remains suspect however and he will need to take his chances against The Machine.

Wade currently occupies bottom spot in the table, losing both his matches so far, but is traditionally a slow starter and could kick into gear at any time.

The match could come down to who takes their doubles and already looks to be an important game even so early in the campaign

The action gets underway at 7pm, with matches played over the best of 14 legs and streamed live from the Odyssey Arena, Belfast.
