Dutch youngsters Jelle Klaasen and Michael van Gerwen are joined by rising Belgian star Kim Huybrechts as well as former UK Open champion Roland Scholten.

Gino Vos, Mareno Michels, Michael Rosenauer and Boris Krcmar complete the line-up, having also prevailed through a star-studded field of qualifiers.

A total of 33 players competed in Cologne on Saturday to win eight places in the Austrian Darts Open, which will be held in the Arena Nova, Wiener Neudstadt from April 27-29.

The eight players join four Home Nation Qualifiers in winning their spots in the inaugural European Tour event, and they will be joined by 20 players from the UK Qualifier to be held in Barnsley on April 13.

The 32 Qualifiers will then be drawn against the world's top 32 players (including the likes of Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Raymond van Barneveld) for the first round of the European Tour event.

The lucrative new series of non-televised events offer £15,000 to the winner and are played over a three-day knockout format.

The UK qualifier will be held on Friday April 13 at the Barnsley Metrodome and sees 66 players competing for 20 places. Notable entrants include Ted Hankey, Dean Winstanley and Dennis Priestley.
